Okay, so I FINALLY saddled Gigondas myself! YES~aren't you excited? Remember, I'm a newbie horse owner! Actually, I showed hubby how to do it! He needs to start working her himself. Gigo was so good! She didn't even break out into a trot! Aren't you all proud of her? Look how calmly she is walking. GOOD GIRL!

She's looking good! I also have a young filly I'm trying to train. Had the saddle on her once in the round pen and she didn't even snort. I was very proud of her. I think she is part mustang because she has very little patience and a temper, lol. Love your blog.

Gigondas, as you know from previous posts, is a HIGH ENERGY thoroughbred! She is very high spirited. With our former trainer, she was saddled three times and then the fourth time, she REARED! YIKES! I'm taking things nice and slow and easy with her. My cousin was kind enough to show me how to do this. I'm in no hurry with her! Our little mustang, Scout, is our REALLY high energy horse! Oh, boy! She'll be a handful!
Good job! Gigo looks good. I love your patience.
