MOM, I WANT a scratch!!!
...sigh...what can I say? Who could resist giving Cali a nice scratch?
Hey! My crazy mare, Bella, the one I'm trying to gentle, had a huge issue when she first arrived. Hating humans and turning her butt to me.
She doesn't do that any more so I was quite surprised when she pulled the same trick while I was grooming her. Turns out she just wanted the back half groomed. :))

Funny that Apache doesn't seem to like me rubbing around back there at all.
And she seems afraid of the shedding curry.
