I had an exhausting day at school today, so this afternoon, after I got home, I went for a LONG walk. I grabbed my camera and found all these plants blooming in our low desert. From cactus to verbena to ocotillo, the desert right now is just starting to open up and bloom!

Wow! It's a cacophony of color!
Nothing is blooming here yet, but I have seen some bits of green grass poking up. No idea how that's possible without a lick of rain since last August, though. lol!

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photography. It's been so gray and rainy here for so long, that the color is a welcome addition to my day.
