We drove home from Prescott today (Monday) and took Highway89 down through Wickenburg. What a cute town! I can see why you love it, Mikey! I wish we had time to stop, but maybe during our next trip in April! Anyway, along Highway 60, we saw lots of yellow wildflowers. I finally pulled over and hubby and I took some photos of them. They were bright yellow, at the peak of their color! Macro Monday and Mellow Yellow Monday for March 14, 2011. To visit Macro Monday, please go to: http://lisaschaos.com/. Beautiful flower. Looks as though you had a fun trip.
Yep, that's yellow! Gorgeous shot.
Awww, thanks! It is cute here, and the people are crazy, but in a good way :)
To answer your questions, yes, that was a dairy you saw. The ranches out here are all beautiful in different ways, and I love them all. It's very rich in history here. You probably drove right by our place outside Wickenburg. Next time you come thru give me some notice and we'll get together. Wade's parents are visiting at the moment, plus spring break and it's just been a little hectic this week...
We were looking to move to Prescott, but now it's sounding like it might be closer to Albuquerque. Love this wonderful bloom!
