Desert Horses

Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Scenic Sunday for March 1, 2009

This old wagon sits by the fence at the ranch where I board my horses. I love watching the trees near in change in the seasons. It is still pretty in winter, even with the bare trees! Scenic Sunday for March 1, 2009. Warm weather AT LAST!

Wow! What a great place to keep your horses. The scene looks very rustic. Nice composition and colors. You ought to go back and shoot this scene at sunset one day to see what that time of day looks like. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely shot! The first ranch we lived on was an old town and it was full of old buildings, wagons, buggys, etc....It was such a cool place to live and work.

Cheryl this is a wonderful picture. I love old wagons. I posted a shot just last week of an old antique horse drawn manure spreader.

oh my I could sit there and enjoy this view all day. It's very relaxing.

Thanks so much for taking this and sharing it with us.:-))))

I've always loved old wagons. We tried to find and buy one when we bought this house, but they seem to be scarce around here. lol!

Beautiful photo. I can see why you enjoy visiting the ranch so much. :)
