Desert Horses

Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Just entry gates~Friday Fences~031612

Just some interesting gates around the desert.  Friday Fences for March 16, 2012. To visit FF, please go to this link:   http://lifeaccordingtojanandjer.blogspot.com/ And, no, these fences aren't really to keep wildlife out.  They are purely decorative.  Frankly, I think they are to keep PEOPLE out!!!!

Are the gates there to keep out the coyotes and javelinas? Of just people and curiosity? Very nice collection of entry gates, and your header photo is beautiful!

Looks like these gates give a lot of privacy to the homeowners!

Like the Spanish feel of the first gate. Actually think it would be nice to live so privately behind one of these gates. Although, it's a bit friendlier if the wall or fencing has some "windows" to the inside.

These look to me to be serious privacy fences. They remind me of ones I used to see in Florida. We do not have any like this here in VA. genie
