Desert Horses

Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 5 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay, October, 2014. The roses are blooming!

A whole lotta snugglin' goin' on!

Well, Scout was the horse that my friend connected with the most on Saturday! My formerly WILD mustang! Look at the two of them! Snuggle, snuggle, snuggle, kiss, kiss, kiss! WHO would have thought that Scout would hold still for this? She never once bucked, or stepped away. She was extremely patient with my friend. But, Scout is very sensitive. Look at those ears!

Scout's expression says it all. She understands your friend and trusts her completely. Scout is a good looking horse, wow.

That is freaking ADORABLE. Especially the "hug" Scout gave her, with her head over your friend's shoulder. I love it when my horse does that with me. :o)

He is being so attentive to her - it's wonderful to see the expressions on both their faces - thank you for sharing the pictures!
