Desert Horses

Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

She was just security testing her home, yep that's it, just checking to make sure the locks were good to go.
She also saved you having to carry that terribly heavy bucket

I'm surprised your horses down there are getting their winter woolies already. We had our first frost on Monday and our boys are only just getting their furry coats. When do you start getting frosts there?
