Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Mikey~These are for you!!!
Icicles on the houses and a horse trailer in a little community above Bishop, CA. Their park was completely covered with snow!!! These are for you, Mikey~I'll post more in the next few days!
lol! Mikey better put on a warm coat and a scarf before she looks at your photos. hehe!
Looks alot like what I see when I'm outside. Except we've got the coldest temps here in over 4 years! It's already zero degrees outside and we're expecting -15 with a wind chill, before the sun comes up! Please come thaw me out tomorrow!

This is all too cold for me!!! 3 jackets!! Long underwear!!
Too cold for me too! I cannot believe some of the places that are getting snow.
