Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Thunderstorm coming!
Here are a few pics of yesterday's thunderstorm, which was headed our way. I don't know if it made it to the hotel, because I konked out at 8:00 p.m.!!! All of these photos were taken off our hotel balcony.
