Desert Horses

Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Sunni

Sometimes you get a surprising photo. I led Sunni down to the arena Sunday and then turned him loose. I had my new lens on my camera, an anniversary present from hubby, and was trying it out that day, so I turned it on Sunni as he went by. Look at his shiny coat! At first I didn't like this photo because the background is blurry and, if you click on the photo to enlarge it, even he is a little blurry. Now, I have a confession to make. I don't have PhotoShop and I don't even know how to use it, so ALL of my photos are SOOC (straight out of the camera). If this one is blurry, it is because I was focusing on Sunni and the camera caught him mid-air. That's okay with me.

Nice one. Sunni is definitely shining in this photo, in more ways than one. I call photos with some blur, artistic :)
