Desert Horses

Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

That's My World for Tuesday, February 24, 2009

I wandered around my yard in our desert home the other day and took these photos. While the bougenvilla isn't in full bloom, like it will be shortly, it did have several blossoms already! That is my fence along the driveway of my home...one wooden horse for each horse in our herd! There are actually five of them, but I couldn't get them all in the frame! I used to have their names on them, but the constant desert sunlight has faded them and I need to go out and redo them! That's My World for February 24, 2009.

I like your wooden horses, nice idea to have a name on each for your horses.
