When I drive up the mountain to see the horses, I often notice the newly-plowed roads. I never see the tractor that does it. Here in California, we have CalTrans, the California Department of Transportation, which would be in charge of this. There is a station up the hill and it is needed because the mountains DO get snow, which needs to be removed, so that cars can go up and down the hill. They are also needed to clear rockslides, which happen frequently. Our mountains are in an earthquake zone, and rockslides happen quite often! So, I was pleased so see the shiny, new CalTrans road scrapper on Saturday. Isn't it beautiful? They parked it right across the street from the fire station, so the firemen(women) could keep an eye on it! It already has some bumps and scrapes on it from working the roads! Wow, I like your page layout, cool green.
The yellow trucks are also amazing.
I WAS drooling over it! It was so big and new and shiny! I want one!
Great Choice for Mellow Yellow Monday!
We get snow plows going up and down the hwy here even though it very rarely snows right here. I always wonder why they come down so low when there's no snow or ice. A break from the snow and ice maybe???
Nice story and pics!
Have a great Monday!!

These are amazing machines ... I wouldn't want to drive one tho! I'd be too afraid.
It reminds me of my work before in the real estate business. Great machines that makes life easier and lighter.
