Desert Horses

Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

"baby" pics of Scout and Cali

I was going through my photo folders last night. Hubby had to go back to work for a special job, and I had some free time! I was viewing some older folders and I found these pics of Cali and Scout, as yearlings. They were just delivered from Wyoming when I took these photos. Look how light Scout was! These pics were taken when we had them boarded up in Lancaster, which was 2 1/2 hours away! You can see why we moved them closer to home!
