Rainbow and morning light~SkyWatch Friday 011510

I've been taking my camera with me every day this week because we've had some beautiful sunrises and I wanted to stop and take some pics of them. One morning, I had to go out of my way and return some library books, so I took another road out to the freeway to school. A storm was coming and half the sky was cloudy, the sky to the west and north. The sky to the east was still clear because the clouds hadn't moved in that far yet. At one point, I looked over and saw this rainbow! And, look at that beautiful, yellow morning light! We've had days of clear blue sky after that, but another storm is heading our way on Monday or Tuesday next week. SkyWatch Friday for January 15, 2010.
