Mmmmffffffpppppphhhhhhhhhh! ~Quad 011610

Our first storm started to move in yesterday and I was eager to get up to the horses and give them an extra meal. While it was cloudy here in the desert, when hubby and I arrived up at the mountain ranch where we board "the herd", it was clear and sunny! Go figure. Over the next week, however, 6-12 inches of snow are forecast. I really don't need to worry about the horses as they are in excellent care, but, like a mom, you know...you always worry! While I was busy brushing Gigondas, hubby had already walked down to see Quad and Sunni and had given them their sweet feed. By the time I got to Quad, this was my greeting!
