Since my computer is being fixed, I combed through all the photos which hubby has on his computer for the Sunday Stills Challenge, "Pets". Fortunately, he has quite a few! Most of these he took last May (2008). I honestly had forgotten about these photos, so early this morning, I was delighted to find them! My computer should be up and running again in about a week. Our son, shown with Sunni, ordered a new video card and as soon as he gets it and installs it and tests it out, I should get my computer back! Yes. Our horses are our pets (along with the cats and dogs)! Here are some photos that hubby took showing us and our family interacting with our horses. Little Cali is the most gentle, but Scout is very sensitive to people's feelings, too. Sunni isn't mean at all, just a little spooky sometimes if something frightens him. He and our son have bonded quite well and Hal and Claudia, his girlfriend, always enjoy coming up to the ranch for some "horse time". Sunday Stills for December 6, 2009. Another storm on the way, this one bringing SNOW down to 2,500 feet, so the horses will be in snow starting probably tonight.
Desert Horses
Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.
