Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Odds & Ends~Sunday stills challenge 122709
And, which horses would provide fodder for this topic? Our two mustangs, Scout and Cali, of course!!! Sunday Stills Challenge for December 27, 2009.
Yes, but I live in Southern California and where I board my horses, they had snow last week, but it is all melted. Right now we are in a "high" and there isn't a cloud in the sky! No new storms moving in, either. And, finally, we have 10,000 foot mountains blocking the clouds!
