Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

BFF
These two are best friends. I mean, look at them share the bowl! I put two bowls out...one for each of them, but this is how they always eat! Silly horses!

Very sweet!
Funny how people think horses have no emotions...you can tell they really care for each other.
It is wonderful that they are equal and there is none of the pecking order antics going on.
