Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

We met some new friends along the road!

So, we went out and found some NEW friends!
Unfortunately, they weren't interested in becoming friends...sigh...

I was up behind Prescott once coming into it from Jerome. There was a whole herd of those little guys along the side of the road. Fun to watch.
