Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Who? Me?
I've often heard Cathy, the ranch owner, talk about how Cali or Sunni stands in the water trough, but I had never seen it until this weekend when Cali hopped right in to play in the water. Who? Me? Really? And, look at that innocent face!
