For some reason we are having August weather in May. August is when the thunderheads develop in the afternoons. Sometimes they produce rain and sometimes they don't, but they still are pretty to watch. These were over the ranch last weekend. While they did not produce any rain, the ones over Joshua Tree, on the other side of the valley, did! I don't remember getting thunderheads like these in May, but these are typical during the monsoon months of July and August. SkyWatch Friday for June 5, 2009. Well, phooey! I've tried to link to Mr. Linky on SWF 4 times now and it hasn't worked yet! Apparently they are experiencing problems with Mr. Linky (again) ...sigh...
