Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

almost horses
I don't have any new horse pics this week as we have been on vacation, but I did take these photos during our stops in Arizona. Aren't they pretty?
You know, I don't know the name of the store. Actually, it was several stores! I'm trying to think...we went to so many places! I think it was in Williams, AZ. My credit card was put away by that point, so I was just looking!
I've really enjoyed all your pictures of the wild ponies. I've never been to Canyon de Chelly but have always wanted to go - now I REALLY want to go. And a sidetrip to Prescott to do a little shopping sounds like fun, too!
