I woke up this morning and thought it was SATURDAY until I fully woke up, then I realized it was only Thursday...two more days of school! Ugh~we're nearly done with our curriculum and the kiddos are BORED, BORED, BORED! I am going to start some science lessons next week and sprout some corn in cups and then send it home with the kids to plant in their yards. Actually, our valley is getting ready to harvest its first corn crop! I'm taking my camera with me this morning so that I can take photos after school today. The corn is about 4 feet tall! But, remember, the Coachella Valley gets two FULL crops of corn a year! So, the first one is on its way! I found these cows out in a pasture last Friday, but this afternoon, I'll stop and take some pics of the corn.

Yeah Linda is at the Steve Edwards Donkey and Mule Clinic down at my friend Colleen's ranch. I was supposed to be the photographer for the clinic, but didn't feel up to it. Colleen told me that Linda was one of the 5 who showed up for the clinic.
