Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Hi, Mom~ Scout and Cali







The mustangs were out and about on Saturday in the warm sunshine. I just listened to the weather report and the mountains will get wind tonight and rain is forecast over the weekend. DARN! Why does it always have to rain on the weekend? Rain = more mud...sigh...
