This flat cloud drifted over the desert a couple of weeks ago. Look at the straight line on the bottom! Interesting, eh? While the mountains get snow, rain, and mist, we in the desert get to look up at them and see what's happening up there! Rain is forecast for tomorrow and wind today. SkyWatch Friday for May 1, 2009.

Sometimes I look at skies like this and think if I had painted it, no one would have believed it really looked this way! These photos really do make the sky look abstract. Terrific!
Lovely photos....I like the palm trees against the sky and dark cloud.
