Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Ahhhh.....spring!
Spring, spring! You lovely thing. Flowers bloom and horses play! Okay, so I'm not a poet, but these two had F-U-N this weekend just getting loose and then settling down to eat weeds! Hehehehehehe~

What a treat it must be to horses to go to their usual romping grounds and suddenly find green stuff growing there.
We've been having a lot of high jinks as well! Spring has sprung!
I like to think that we might have Spring some day, too. :)
