Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Sunni and Scout and Gigondas
Of, COURSE, I didn't forget to get pics of our OTHER HORSES! DUH!
Sundancer, I finally found the time to look at your blog, great horses. Your sorrel looks so much like my Star only without the star. Hope your weather is better, we are expecting a storm according to weatherman. I'll beleive it when I see it. And my ponies, all of them, chew on each others manes and tail. Can't figure out why they let each other do it. Maybe a vitiman thing. I will ask my vet. Odd that your name is Sundancer and you have a horse Sunni, and I have a Sundance horse called Sunny. I also have a German Shepherd.
Hey Sundancer, thanks for letting me know about your blog! It's great, and now I can see pictures of my nieces and nephew whenever I want! I love it ... but don't expect ME to start blogging, you know how terrible I am about downloading pictures!
