Mountain and storm clouds~SkyWatch Friday~010816
I took a 5 1/2 hour drive yesterday in my car around the valley. The El Nino storm had broken up slightly (it started up again later...) and I wanted to see all the snow on our local mountains, Mt. San Jacinto and Mt. San Gorgonio. I wasn't disappointed. SkyWatch Friday for January 8, 2016. We arrived in Palm Springs last weekend for a short vacation in Los Angeles. We didn't see any snow on our drive to the city. With that big storm I bet we see lots on the way back. Good for California. We used to live here, but never had a drought this bad. I love horses. Had some in LA before we moved north to the country. Seems backwards. - Margy
