Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

Rolling, rolling, rolling...
Apparently there is NOTHING like a good roll, as Sunni and Lucille show you from their time in the arena yesterday (not together)...separated! :-)
Howdy Cheryl Anne, My ol' daddy always said, "If a horse 'rolled' all the way over, it meant he was worth at least $100 for each flip.." Those Mustangs are real beauties and Thank You, for 'saving' them.. We went to the Mustang/Burro sale in Abilene, once and I 'bought'/bid on one; but then thought, 'how'll I train'im in a wheel-chair??', and 'turned'im' back... He was so pretty, too!!! He had looked into my 'soul'...
