Desert Horses
Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. Here is the ranch up the mountains where the horses stay.

A ghost???
One afternoon hubby and I FINALLY stopped at the Laws Railroad Museum, which is just outside of Bishop, CA. We've driven by the signs so many times and never stopped, which is really strange because both hubby's father and grandfather were railroad men in Pennsylvania. So, with time to kill, we stopped there for a self-guided tour. There is no fee, although donations are greatly appreciated. It was like stepping back in time and I'll do a whole post or two on it later, but one photograph that hubby took intrigued me. (Of course, I had no such photos...!!!!) Now, mind you, he ALWAYS sets up his tripod, takes his time, composes his photos (much to my annoyance!), so how do you explain THIS? Carson, are you there? Anybody????

Makes a person wonder...
It looks like this picture was taken through a pane of glass, and he picked up on a reflective object moving behind him, so he probably had it set to a slower shutter speed.
