Horse ranch last November
It is wonderful and refreshing to have Veterans' Day off today! Ahhhhhhh!!!!! I have a day to catch up on laundry, dishes, and planting seeds, as well as honoring our veterans. My dad fought in the Army in WWII, and was stationed in the South Pacific. He never talked about his war experiences.
Anyway, after I get my chores done here this morning, I'll be driving up to the horse ranch. I wonder what the trees along the driveway will look like. Here are some photos of them last November.

ReplyDeleteLooks like Fall. We went to Denny's this morning and the waitress kept asking if we were Veterans. My husband kept saying no. I asked him why he lied. He said that serving in the Coast Guard in the Caribbean isn't the same as fighting a war. I said, "But they might have given you free coffee."
ReplyDeleteIt turned out he would have received a free build your own meal. Oh well. Happy Veteran's Day.
