"Light" ~ A Personal Photo Challenge~121413
Well, since I haven't been out to take any photos for over two weeks now, I went through my archives this morning for this week's Personal Photo Challenge. I found these...I don't have photos of snow as our mountains only get snow MAYBE December through February. And, last year there wasn't much snow...But, I do have a LOT of photos from our travels! :-) So, here goes: All of these were taken with my Canon 7D, with natural light. I actually took the top one through the car windshield as we were returning from a trip to Arizona. That was the view coming down Interstate 10 into the Coachella Valley on a windy afternoon! Thanks for joining in the challenge fun, Cheryl! I love the reflected light and glow on that first photo. The wind was scattering the dust participles, and it is a wonderful example of backlighting. Delicious colors. I had to chuckle at the second one. Man-made lights are getting an assist of illumination by natural light! And the last photo is lovely, with autumn light bouncing off of golden leaves.
ReplyDeleteOh my Goodness! That sky shot is Beautiful!! I LOVE the light!

Stunning photos, Cheryl. Love that sky and the glowing oak leaves!
ReplyDeleteThrough the windshield?! That's the best through the windshield photo I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI really like all three of these photos. The sky shot is amazing with all the haze or rain in the clouds. I love the shadows of the leaves on the wall with the lanterns too. Very nice photos!
ReplyDeleteNot only through the windshield, but hubby was driving 80 mph! YES!
ReplyDeleteLove the light glowing on the leaves in the last photo. Gorgeous images.
ReplyDeleteThree great "light" photos Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteThe windscreen one is awesome!
The dappled light with the lanterns is lovely.
These are perfect shots for this theme...I love the first shot! Enjoy your day, Millie
