We were up in the mountains at a friend's house last night. I took a walk before dinner, admiring the mountains and the sky. It was nice to be able to get out of the desert heat and enjoy the coolness of the mountains. Once the sun set, the temps dropped a lot! We actually looked up and saw the Milky Way last night. Scorpio also was out. To visit SkyWatch Friday, please go to:

Love your sky. Glad you had a respite from the heat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shade of pink and orange and purple!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photo, I wonder if you were in the San Jacinto / Idyllwild area? That's one of my fave places to be.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of the two tall old growth trees on the ridge of Goat Island in front of our cabin. They rise well above the surround forest and can be seen distinctly from a long distance. Love the colours in your sky. - Margy
