I pass this tree every time I go visit the horses. On this afternoon, a couple of weeks ago, it was cloudy and when I stopped to take a couple of pics, the sun was behind it. I thought it made a good Halloween tree. Have a safe and happy Halloween tomorrow! SkyWatch Friday, October 30, 2009.
Super sky!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are great! Makes me think that the 'Headless Horseman' is going to be riding through. Nice and scary. :)
This is a neat blog...for horses. You mention Sonoma County here...this is same county I live in. :) Beautiful four-legged family members you have here.
Reading what you wrote about why do the good always have to die young reminded me of something a little 5 or 6 year old boy said when his dog had died. It went something like..."Humans live long lives in order to learn how to live a good life; to love and be good to others. Animals already know how to do that and so they don't have to live as long". Isn't that a rather sweet thought? The death of our four-legged friends really can devastate us, can't they? I can relate.
Take care.
