I brought carrots for the horses last weekend and Beauty, who is always on carrot alert, immediately KNEW what was in the bag! She quickly thrust her nose into the plastic bag and demanded carrots! Sunni watched her shenanigans quietly from afar. Silly girl! Carrots are for geldings! Every horse got a small bag of carrots, which I noticed were harvested in the Coachella Valley, not far from my school. And, they were organic ones, at that! Soon the slurping and crunching began! Aren't some of her expressions cute? She's very expressive!
What a treat! hehehe

ReplyDeleteSo photogenic. Horse I just find such gentle creatures, even when they are bucking and braying. Cute.
ReplyDeleteI love how she is eyeing the bag trying to figure out how to get to those carrots.
ReplyDeleteAre they careful not to eat the plastic bags?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I was standing right there, taking the pics! I made sure Beauty didn't eat the bag! She was more interested in the carrots inside it anyway!
