I use...I do not know about the shredded beat pulp. I use a product called "Sand clear". A couple of years ago Danny had some loose stools and the vet listened and said he had sand in him, so I used that and it took care of the problem. Now I treat my horses with it every six months or so. It says to do it every month, but I don't. Probably because it is so expensive, and every six months seems to work for me.
